Christopher K. Bobb is the Chief Technology Officer at Excelicon. He joined Excelicon in 2020 to direct and evolve the company’s information technology strategy and development, providing expertise and leadership to the fast-growing, award-winning company.
Mr. Bobb has 40 years of technical and managerial experience in the IT industry with a particular focus on innovative technologies and crafting solutions in response to industry and global challenges. He has a proven record for delivering a full range of IT support services for mission-critical programs in both Federal and Commercial environments.
His work has included the architectural design and development of software products for the identification and acquisition of information through the use of artificial intelligence software and other leading-edge technologies; the design and development of an Enterprise Performance Operations Center (EPOC). In addition, his work has focused on providing service offerings available for commercial and federal customers which included: Security Operations Center(SOC), Network Operations Center (NOC), Mobile Operations Center (MOC), Multi-tenant Service Desk, Managed Cloud Services, Backup, COOP/DR.
Prior to his work in private industry, Mr. Bobb served as a Federal employee at a Federal Law Enforcement Agency where he was responsible for future technologies and architecture of world-wide, mission-critical information systems including modernization of legacy systems, and the design and development of an automated booking system, including biometrics, which became the baseline for the Department of Justice Joint Automated Booking System (JABS). He participated in the development and identification of data standards in conjunction with the Global Justice XML Data Model (GJXDM) and LEXS PD 2.0, as well as a working group for the Classification/De-classification of information out of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).
