As Director of Solutions, Patrick Bolton leads customer-driven solutions, practice development and business winning teams for Excelicon. He also serves as a FEAC Institute Faculty and Certificate Board member with 34 years of management consulting, enterprise architecture (EA), CPIC, PfM, TBM, governance, BPR, systems engineering, program management, business development, and practice thought leadership having managed teams of over 65 staff with complex client programs over $45M. He is a recognized and award-winning thought leader in EA, Governance, TBM, CPIC and PfM; a Certified Enterprise Architect and Foundational Faculty Member of the FEAC Institute. FEAC Faculty Lead on EA Best Practices, SOA, Security, CPIC / PfM / Governance / FITARA / TBM, DODAF, TOGAF, Tools, Reference Models, Work Products, NIEM and Executive Decision Making. He is certified with TOGAF, FEAC (Certified Enterprise Architect), ZCEA, and CMMI. And has supported 45+ federal Civilian, DoD, and IC clients; as well as many commercial and international clients (Ministries of Japan, S. Korea, and China).
Prior to Excelicon, Mr. Bolton served as Mgmt/Business Consulting Practice Leader for ISI, Chief Engineer/Architect and Strategic Consulting Services Managing Director for BAE Systems, and Principal / Senior Consultant with James Martin & Co / Headstrong and Accenture.
Mr. Bolton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration / Organizational Behavior at the University of Illinois and a certificate with the Advanced Management Program/Center for Creative Leadership, National Leadership Institute at the University of Maryland.
