On August 16, Excelicon’s Director of Operations, Deborah Giron, met with a representative of Everyone Home DC to deliver gift cards collected by Excelicon employees. Excelicon holds monthly in-person volunteer and giving initiatives which allow employees to make a difference in our community.
“We were excited about collecting gift cards for the students served by Everyone Home DC because gift cards allow parents and students to exercise personal choice in their school supplies,” said Tammie Rice, Chair of ExceliconCares Tiger Team. “When so much in their lives is uncertain, helping students return to class with items that that they selected was important to us. I am grateful to work with a company whose leaders value philanthropy and service.”
ExceliconCares enables Excelicon employees to help make our community a better place to live by giving back. We reach out to local and regional organizations to learn where we can help, and organize monthly community service, fund-raising, and donation events to increase awareness and support.
