For Immediate Release
Washington, D.C. (May 2020) -Excelicon, a management consulting and technology services provider to the government, announced today that the company delivered a supply of N95 face masks to Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland on Tuesday.
Excelicon’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic includes a variety of methods that protect the safety of its employees and their families as the company continues to serve government clients while working remotely. One solution involved supplying masks for employees whose trips into public spaces were unavoidable. Philanthropy and community involvement are a central to Excelicon’s culture, so when purchasing a case of masks to mail to all staff, Excelicon ordered a second case for the hardworking and dedicated staff at Suburban Hospital. Every mask received by Excelicon staff was matched with one for hospital staff.
“Excelicon stands for missions that have a direct impact in showing up to help those that need it the most, when they need it the most. As COVID-19 hampers the world and our lives in an unprecedented way, the front-line resources are putting themselves in harm’s way every day to combat this pandemic,“ said Tushar Garg, CEO at Excelicon. “This donation is the least we can do to show our support and stay true to our ideals of supporting the mission and those that need help the most.”
Suburban Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine and a not-for-profit, community-based hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, is accepting donations of PPE as well as financial contributions. Excelicon invites you to consider making your own donation. More information on the hospital’s needs and the donation process can be found at https://bit.ly/3dPuBe4.
